 Tyrannosaurus was a genus of theropod dinosaur. The species Tyrannosaurus rex ('rex' means' king' in Latin), is commonly abbreviated to T. rex, has always been a fixture in popular culture,
including many movies. The Tyrannosaurus lived throughout what is now western North America, with a much wider range than other tyrannosaurids.
